Sea Grant Law Center Summer Internship (1Ls or 2Ls)
The Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Legal Program is seeking a rising 2L or 3L student with strong writing and analytical abilities for Summer 2020 internship with the Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Legal Program. Interest in the environment a plus. Will research and help draft regulations, analyze relevant case law, write an article for the quarterly publication, Water Log, and perform legal research as needed. Full-time for ten weeks. $15 per hour. Remote work depending on current campus protocols related to COVID-19.
The Mississippi-Alabama Sea Grant Legal Program is a legal research institution associated with the University of Mississippi School of Law. It is one of many legal programs under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Sea Grant program. Its focus is on legal issues pertaining to the Gulf of Mexico such as fisheries, resiliency to flooding, and water quality. Work will involve federal, state, and local laws.
