Scholarship for Residents of Hamilton County, TN

The Chattanooga Bar Foundation is seeking applications from law students attending an ABA accredited law school who are residents of Hamilton County, TN for their scholarship. The amount of the scholarship varies but will not exceed $2,500. The deadline to apply is May 30, 2016 and more information about the scholarship can be found on their website.

Interested students must submit the following information:

• certified college transcript that contains the student’s class rank and test scores;
• a certified law school transcript;
• a personal statement that provides a brief biographical sketch;
• a personal statement that provides goals for the future;
• a statement of personal or financial circumstances that demonstrates the applicant’s need for financial assistance; and
• a letter of recommendation from a law school or undergraduate teacher or advisor.
