Rising 2Ls: Google’s 2026 Legal Summer Institute, Application Open Now
We encourage rising 2Ls at your school to apply to the US Legal Summer Institute (LSI), a Google program.
The US Legal Summer Institute aims to improve access to in-house careers at tech companies by expanding opportunities and removing barriers in the legal industry. Rising 2Ls (class of 2027) are eligible to apply for the 2026 program. If accepted into the program, students will be invited to spend one immersive week on Google’s campus as well as a full summer associateship with one of LSI’s partner law firms.
The application is now open and will close on Saturday, 5/31/2025 at Midnight (Pacific). Beyond the normal resume and transcript(s), the application requires 2 short essays and a 2 minute video.
