REMINDER – U.S. Senator Corker to speak on MONDAY
U.S. Senator Bob Corker will speak at the University of Memphis School of Law on Monday, Sept. 28th in Wade Auditorium from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
In a special “D.C. Update” Senator Corker will speak about current domestic and international events and issues, as they relate to his work in Washington. Senator Corker currently serves on four Senate committees: Foreign Relations, where he is the chairman; Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; Budget; and the Special Committee on Aging.
The Senator will give students, faculty, staff and guests an opportunity to ask questions they may have about current events and his work in the Senate. We’re excited about this opportunity to hear directly from a seasoned leader in the U.S. Senate who is involved in some of the nation’s most important policy decisions.
This will be Senator Corker’s first official visit to the downtown location of the University of Memphis School of Law, so please make plans to attend.
