MOOT COURT CREDITS

Executive Board, Board, or Travel Teams

  • Your Chief Justice or Professor Kritchevsky will provide the Registrar’s office with a list, a permit will be issued and you will be notified to register. A CRN and course number will be provided to you. Once you receive that email, it will be your responsibility to register yourself.

Moot Court competitions (in-school)

  • You will register yourself for this credit, no permit is required. The Law Registrar will confirm with the Chief Justice/Prof. Kritchevsky that the requirements were met. If you have not met the requirements, you will be dropped from the course. You cannot register for half (1/2) credit; only one credit for 2 competitions. There are two in-school competitions each academic year: Advanced Moot Court and Freshman Moot Court. Competitions are not defined as rounds within a competition. You receive credit in the semester in which you complete the second competition. Check the Spring 2022 Course Schedule for course number 811 to find the applicable CRN.
