As part of the annual Speaker Series, SBA and Law Review present “Heartbalm Goes Viral: Alienation of Affections Crosses State Lines.” Family law matters are traditionally determined by each state consistent with the state’s public policy.  A state’s public policy may evolve over time. Should State A be forced to give full faith and credit to State B’s judgment when such judgment effectively resurrects a common law cause of action which State A has rejected?
