PRO BONO OPPORTUNITY @ JAIL EAST 4/23
To kick off National Re-entry Week the AWA in conjunction with MALS is holding a pro bono clinic at Jail East on April 23, 2016 from 8:30am – 12:00pm. There are 78 women who have been pre-screened with re-entry issues ranging from landlord/tenant disputes to expungements.
All interested volunteers must be pre-screened. If you wish to participate please send an email to jerri.green@memphis.edu on our before Friday April 15, 2016 so that I may forward your information for clearance.
If you are interested but can’t attend on this date, please note a second clinic will be held in June at 201 Poplar. Details to come later.
