Pro Bono Opportunity

Unity Solutions, a local non-profit, seeks a rising 2L or 3L for a 6 week internship.  This is a pre-approved placement for earning pro bono hours required for graduation.  Unity Solutions describes the duties of the internship as follows:

Assist CEO and other attorneys in providing non-representational legal counsel and social justice education to underserved Memphians, in collaboration with Advance Memphis (www.advancememphis.org), Christ Community Health Services (www.christcommunityhealth.org), and Hope Church (www.hopepres.com).  Applicant must have successfully completed the 1st year of law school at an accredited institution, and have the ability and desire to maintain unconditional positive regard for Neighbors in need.  Position is a six-week unpaid internship with a 501(c) non-profit corporation.  Successful completion could lead to invitation to ongoing participation or possible employment.
