2) Know a law student or recent graduate who can’t wait to shape laws and advance policies to ensure reproductive self-determination for all? Help us spread the word and encourage aspiring lawyers to apply for our ‘21-22 If/When/How Reproductive Justice Fellowship Program cohort. We invite 3Ls and new lawyers to apply for the one-of-a-kind legal fellowship program that has launched the careers of 82 lawyers to date. Fellows earn $57,000 and start in Fall 2021; possible placement locations include Oakland, CA, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA, Memphis, TN and Nashville, TN, with the potential for remote placements. Applications are due November 2nd!
3) EarthRights International is currently hiring for a Bertha Justice Legal Fellow, a two-year position beginning in September, 2021. EarthRights is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment.
Bertha Justice Legal Fellow – This paid fellowship is supported by the generosity of the Bertha Foundation, whose “Be Just” initiative is intended to “train the next generation of social justice and movement lawyers by funding two-year Fellowships at the best public interest law centers around the world, where emerging lawyers receive practical training from renowned professionals.” The fellowship is geared towards recent U.S. law school graduates and LLM degree holders hoping to practice in the United States.
