“Policing, Protesting, and Perceptions: A Critical Examination of the Events in Ferguson” – Op Ed Writing Competition
The University of Missouri Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution has announced a student writing competition that is being organized in conjunction with the Missouri Law Review annual symposium, entitled “Policing, Protesting, and Perceptions: A Critical Examination of the Events in Ferguson.” Submissions should be in the opinion editorial style, though appropriate references to legal authorities should also be incorporated. Submissions should be 2,500-3,500 words (~10-15 pages). The competition winner will receive a $700 cash prize. Submissions are due February 13, 2015.
