“Piss Feist”: Freedom of Expression and Recent Terrorist Attacks
On February 10th at Noon in Wade Auditorium, the Federalist Society will be hosting Dr. James Chen, professor of law at Michigan State University College of Law. Dr. Chen will be talking about the terrorist events of late in Paris and the dilemma Sony Pictures had with their decision to release the movie “The Interview.” He will focus on the legal aspect of Freedom of Expression and the possible actions from the government taking steps to limit freedom of expression or freedom of speech in the face of terrorism as a means of national security.
