Did you really want to enroll in Patent Law when you were registering in April? But its time/day didn’t fit with the rest of your schedule? Good news!
The day, time, and place for Patent Law has changed. Patent Law will now be taught Monday/Wednesday, 3:00p-4:15p in Room 233. Please consider enrolling this fall. It is possible that Patent Law will transition to an every-other-year course, and likely won’t be offered again until fall 2025.

This course covers the substantive requirements for obtaining a patent on an invention and enforcing patent rights in federal court. Topics include patentable subject matter; utility; disclosure; novelty; nonobviousness; claim construction; infringement; defenses; and remedies. A technical background is not required for this course.
