Opportunities for Pro Bono Hours

Need pro bono hours to graduate, but don’t have a big block of time to devote to getting those hours?  Attend Memphis Area Legal Services’ “Attorney for a Day” or “Saturday Legal Clinic.”

“Attorney for a Day” is every Thursday at 1:30pm in Room 134 of the Shelby County Courthouse (140 Adams).   Volunteer attorneys meet with walk-in clients and provide advice, counsel, referrals, and sometimes extended services if needed. Paralegals and students provide supportive services at this clinic.

“Saturday Legal Clinic” is held the second Saturday of every month at the Ben Hooks Public Library, 3030 Poplar Ave., 38111, from 10am to 1pm.
