New Information – Law Certificates

Dear Students,

I am excited to announce that the law school now has access to UM Degree, the University’s degree auditing platform. UM Degree will allow you to track your progress toward your JD and show you outstanding requirements along with options that fulfill those requirements.

Students interested in pursuing certificates (including those who have already signed up with the certificate advisor) should declare their interest in pursuing an Advocacy, Business, Health, or Tax Certificate by completing the Certificate Declaration Form.  If you do so, UM Degree can help you track your progress toward certificate requirements as well.

Please note that UM Degree is not an official record of your degree and certificate progress, but rather a tool for you to use for your planning purposes.  The Law Registrar’s Office and the certificate advisor will determine whether you have met your degree and certificate requirements.  Please contact the Law Registrar or certificate advisor with any questions.
