Networking with a Cause

The Community Legal Center and Memphis Area Legal Services, Inc. need your help.  These wonderful organizations are hosting fundraisers and need students to help with set-up, serving food/drinks, auction monitoring, socializing, etc.  Below is further information.  Both parties are a great way to meet attorneys while supporting access to justice in Memphis.

Strut! Memphis – Community Legal Center’s annual fundraiser at the Mercedes-Benz of Memphis (5389 Poplar) from 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 16th.  Come rub elbows with celebrity bartenders, including Mayor Wharton & 6th Circuit Judge Gibbons.  This is a really fun event…we had about 20 students volunteer with it last year.

A Taste of the Square – Memphis Area Legal Service’s fundraiser will be in Overton Square from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, October 15th.  This is a new fundraiser for them.  They need as much support as they can get!
