Memphis City Attorney seeks Summer Interns

The City of Memphis Law Division invites interested law students to be paired with Law Division attorneys for participation in its 2020 Summer Law Clerk Internship Program. While the internships are unpaid, the experience gained by the students and the work product provided by the students to the students to the Law Division and the citizens of the City of Memphis during the internship is invaluable. Pro bono credit will also be given by the University of Memphis law school.
 
The application deadline is April 3, 2020. The scheduling of interviews will begin mid-April and end during the latter part of April. The program begins during the latter part of May 2020 and ends August 6, 2020. Please forward a resume and cover letter via this post. Cover letter to Barbaralette G. Davis, Senior Assistant City Attorney; cover letter should outline applicant’s career goals and how an internship with the Law Division of the City of Memphis can assist in achieving those goals.
