Memphis Bar Association Outreach and Diversity Committee: 21 Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge
The MBA Outreach and Diversity Committee is sponsoring a local version of the 21 Day Racial Equity Habit Building Challenge conceived by Dr. Eddie Moore, Jr., a nationally renowned diversity expert, which was recently sponsored at a national level by the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law in June 2020. The challenge consists of each participant pledging to complete a 21 consecutive day syllabus of short readings designed to focus on perspectives of Black American history, identity, and culture and the Black community’s experience of racism in America. Registration in the challenge is open to all; participants need not be lawyers or members of the MBA. Information for participation in the event is as follows:
