Networking Opportunity with Civil Rights Attorney Ben Crump

Prior to the Memphis stop of the Worse Than a Lie Book Tour, renowned civil rights attorney and bestselling author Ben Crump will set aside dedicated time to meet privately with law students from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.

This exclusive gathering will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at First Baptist Church Broad Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, ahead of the public book signing event. Attorney Crump intentionally created this space to connect with the next generation of advocates, offering students and young attorneys an opportunity for mentorship, conversation, and professional engagement in an intimate setting.

To maximize the time and ensure a prompt start, attendees are asked to arrive no later than 12:30 p.m.

Following the private networking session, attendees are welcome to remain for the public Worse Than a Lie book signing beginning at 1:30 p.m., moderated by April Thompson Larsha and hosted by Pastor Keith Norman at First Baptist Church Broad Avenue.
