MCB Travel Team Interest Meeting on 10/15/26

Calling all 2Ls and 3Ls!

The Moot Court Board will host an upcoming Travel Team Interest Meeting for students interested in competing on one of our remaining travel teams for the 2026–2027 competition season.

Date: October 15, 2026

Time: 12 PM – 1 PM

Location: Historic Courtroom

Come learn more about our award-winning advocacy program and what it takes to represent Memphis Law on the national stage. The interest meeting will provide additional information regarding tryouts, course credit, job opportunities/prospects, the Moot Court Board index, competition expectations, travel, and more.

Whether you already know you want to compete or simply want to learn more about the opportunities available through Moot Court Board, we encourage you to attend the interest meeting and find out what it means to be part of one of Memphis Law’s winning teams.

American Bar Association Moot Court Team

The ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition gives students the opportunity to develop and demonstrate their appellate advocacy skills through brief writing and oral argument. Our team will consist of up to six students.

Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Team

The Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition is one of the nation’s premier bankruptcy moot court competitions, bringing together law students from across the country to compete in appellate advocacy. The Memphis Law team will consist of three to six students.
