Mandatory 1L Spring Workshop Series
Dear 1L Students:
Welcome back!
In the past, 1L students have been required to attend a mandatory workshop in January just before the start of school. This workshop provided an opportunity for the Law School to provide important information to all 1L students.
Instead of requiring students to return to school a day early, we will be hosting a series of lunchtime workshops during the Spring semester. In general, these workshops will take place on Thursdays from 12 – 12:50. Since these workshops will take the place of the mandatory one-day workshop, attendance at each of the workshop sessions is also mandatory for all 1L students. Attendance will be taken.

[1] This workshop is mandatory for students with any student loan debt. If you do not have any student loan debt, you may email Dean Aden for permission to miss the workshop.
[2] These small group academic advising sections will take place during your regularly scheduled Legal Methods class time. We will announce small group assignments later in the semester.
