Lawyer and Student Volunteers Needed Saturday

The MBA Access to Justice Committee, MALS, and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office are sponsoring a civil legal clinic this Sat., Sept. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Shelby County jail, 201 Poplar.  A couple of the volunteers have had to cancel due to illness or injury, so we need some more volunteers.  If you can help, either for all or part of the morning, please let Anne Fritz (afritz@memphisbar.org) or Mark Berryhill (mark.berryhill@shelby-sheriff.org) know.  Breakfast will be provided.  This is a civil legal clinic so the areas will be the same as those with the regular Saturday Legal Clinic – divorce, custody, debt, housing, etc.  No criminal law!
