Law School Parking & Towing Policies

Dear Students,

The university has implemented new parking enforcement policies at the law school.

There is no parking provided on the west/back side of the law school building at any time. This drive aisle must remain clear and is a designated Fire Lane. Parking in the loading dock area is restricted to authorized vehicles only for the purposes of making deliveries, loading/unloading, service vehicles, etc.
Students also may not park in university-designated spaces on Court Avenue or reserved spaces around the building.

Enforcement

Reserved spaces and Court Avenue priority spaces will be enforced
“Intent to Tow” notifications will be issued along with a citation on any unauthorized vehicle not displaying a valid UofM permit.

Police Services will issue “Intent to Tow” notifications for all first time offenders. Vehicles will be towed on second offense.
