Law School Closure During 1st Week of August
The law building’s “chillers” need to be serviced this summer. The work will involve a crane to hoist the new chillers to the roof and then repair/replacement of the system. The building will not have A/C during the repair. So, the law faculty, administration, and staff will work remotely (work from home) for two or three days in early August. The schedule is below:
- Saturday, August 1: A large crane will need to navigate to the back of the building and lift the new chillers to the roof. As such, please do not park your car on the South or West Lots on this day.
- Monday, August 3: Law building is closed and faculty/staff will work remotely.
- Tuesday, August 4: Law building is closed and faculty/staff will work remotely.
- Wed., August 5: The chillers will be back online, but it will likely take a day to cool the building.
- Thurs., August 6: Back in business.
