Law School Building Security Protocols

This is a friendly reminder of law school building security protocols.

1.  Students must wear ID badges at all time while on law school grounds.

2.  We have requested and received assurances that we will have two full-time security officers on site, around the clock, Monday through Friday, throughout the academic year.  We will also make sure the officers on duty are providing escorts, even if not requested, anytime anyone leaves the building between dusk and dawn.  You can reach security at the front desk at 901-678-4075.

3.   In addition, we are re-examining our communications policies and procedures to ensure Police Services can communicate as rapidly as possible with all Law School community members.  To ensure the fastest communication, I would urge all students, faculty and staff who have not already done so to sign up to receive TigerText emergency alert messages at https://umwa.memphis.edu/tigertext/index.php.
