Law Scholarships Opportunity for Spring 2020 and Deadline to apply
- Interested in practicing family law? The University of Memphis School of Law is currently accepting applications for the Rice, Amundsen, and Caperton, PLLC This scholarship will be awarded Spring 2020 to a returning law student who has completed the Family Law class and is interested in practicing family law. The scholarship is valued at $1,604 and comes with a paid summer intern position with the firm. Interested students can apply at Tiger Manager. In addition to creating a general application, you must apply for the Rice, Amundsen, and Caperton, PLLC (OSF609) scholarship and upload a résumé and a personal statement expressing why you are interested in Family Law. The absolute deadline to apply is January 3, 2020.
- Arthur Horne Diversity Scholarship valued at $1,000. This scholarship will be awarded in the spring and comes with a paid summer clerkship with the firm at Mr. Horne’s firm. Mr. Horne is a Memphis Law graduate who recently established this scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a law student who demonstrates diversity and has an expressed interest in litigation and/or sports management and entertainment law upon graduation. Interested students can apply at Tiger Manager. In addition to creating a general application, you must apply for the Arthur Horne Diversity Scholarship (OSF 795)scholarship and upload a résumé and a personal statement expressing why you are interested in Litigation and/or Sports and Entertain Law. The absolute deadline to apply is January 3, 2020.
- Wells and Associates Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded in the spring and comes with a paid summer clerkship at Wells and Associates located on Monroe, near the law school. This scholarship will be awarded to a law student who demonstrates diversity and has an expressed interest in litigation. Interested students can apply at Tiger Manager. In addition to creating a general application, you must apply for the Wells and Associates Scholarship (OSF 829)scholarship and upload a résumé and a personal statement expressing why you are interested in this scholarship. The absolute deadline to apply is January 3, 2020.
