Courtesy of SBA’s collaboration with the YMCA, the Y is offering “Try the Y Week” from November 18th to November 22nd, exclusively for University of Memphis School of Law Students.  This means you could try out the Y (at any of their 11 locations) for FREE for a whole week! The join fee for Try the Y week is also $0! Students will need to present their ID to get into the Y.

Check out the FLYER here. Come by Room 262 if you need a physical copy of the flyer.

Pick-up Basketball Game

Will Gebo (1L) has kindly volunteered himself as the “go to” person in organizing group basketball for other students. He and others already have a standing practice to play every week, typically on Thursdays and Fridays. If anyone would like to play basketball, contact Will. The YMCA did okay them using the gymnasium as long as the schedule allows.

New Wellness Room at the Law School!

Room 432 (on the North side of the Reading Room) has been transformed into a multipurpose Wellness Room. Stop by and check out the new look! Yoga mats and a television will soon be available for use. We encourage students to use this area for group activities and wellness events. More details to follow!
