1) 1Ls & 2Ls:
EarthRights International is currently hiring Legal Interns for summer 2021. EarthRights is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment.  Summer 2021 internships are a full-time 10-week commitment and applications are due on Nov. 15, 2020. EarthRights legal interns will have the opportunity to participate in various projects associated with our cases, including legal research and writing and assistance in all phases of litigation, as well as other legal work including development of new cases, monitoring and exploring developments in international human rights and environmental law, and researching and utilizing other mechanisms of corporate accountability.

3) The Shelby County Attorney’s Office seeks a law student to work as a part time law clerk and assist with research, writing, contracts, and general assignments. 4) 2Ls & 3Ls:
Paid Internship available for 2L or 3L student in prestigious employment law firm just a few blocks from the law school. Position of considerable responsibility, including legal research, discovery, and drafting of complaints, demand letters, and motions. Excellent research and writing skills required. $10 per hour.

5) Insurance Defense Firm seeks a law student to work as a part time runner. Estimated start date 11/2/20, estimated end date 4/15/20. There is a possibility of extension of length of employment or expansion of duties, depending on the firm’s needs. Compensation is $10 per hour. The Shelby County Criminal Court Judges seek a part time law clerk to assist in legal research and drafting Orders, Findings, and Memoranda. Must be a current 2L, and preferably have completed Evidence course. Pay is $15 per hour. Anticipated start date, ASAP; anticipated end date, after bar results.
