Interested in Pursuing a Certificate in Advocacy, Business, Tax, or Health Law? Last Chance to Declare Your Interest!

Law certificate programs provide students with both specialized study and increased marketability.

Students enrolled in the certificate programs take specialized course tracks and receive mentoring and guidance from faculty advisors

We have 4 certificate programs, each with its own separate faculty advisor:

  • Advocacy (Prof. Kritchevsky)
  • Business (Prof. Letsou)
  • Health (Prof. Ramsey Mason)
  • Tax (Prof. Kratzke)

Students interested in pursuing certificates who were unable to attend find more information here and can watch a recording of today’s Certificate Information Session for more information.

Interested students should declare their interest in pursuing an Advocacy, Business, Health, or Tax Certificate by completing the Certificate Declaration Form by Friday, March 15.

After declaring your interest, UM Degree, the University’s degree auditing platform, can help you track your progress toward certificate requirements.

1Ls who declare their interest in pursuing a certificate will be assigned to a certificate advisor for individual advising.  (Note that students interested in the Health Law Certificate may be assigned to a temporary advisor while Prof. Ramsey Mason is on maternity leave).

Thanks,

Dean Aden
