Individual Advising for 1Ls

Dear 1Ls,

Dean Aden and Dean Wilson are available for individual advising sessions.   You may also seek individual advising from certificate advisors or other faculty.

To make the best use of your one-on-one meeting time, Dean Wilson and Dean Aden will expect that you’ve attended or watched the recording of the Large Advising Session and attended one of the Small Advising Sessions before a one-on-one meeting.   If you are unable to attend one of the Small Advising Sessions, please email Dean Aden to receive access to a recording of a session that you can watch before your one-on-one meeting.

You can sign up for one of the remaining sessions on Wednesday, March 20, or Thursday, March 21, here.  Part-time students should plan to attend the Small Advising Session for part-time students, if possible, but may sign up for another session here if need be.

Also familiarize yourself with the Fall 2019 Course Grid, Course Schedule, Exam Schedule, Limited Enrollment Instructions, and the Registration Memo before your meeting.

Dean Aden

Dean Aden will be available on Wednesday, March 27, between 1 and 3:30 and on Thursday, March 28, between 9:30 – 11:30 for drop-in academic advising appointments.  If you would like to meet with Dean Aden, but are unavailable at these times, please email her with your question or to set up another time to meet.

Dean Wilson 

Dean Wilson will be available for drop-in academic advising appointments on Monday, March 25, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 28, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.  If you would like to meet with Dean Wilson but are unavailable at these times, please email her with your question or to set up another time to meet.
