Dear Memphis Law,
I am excited to share the results of the 2025/2026 Honor Council Election. Please join me in congratulating the following students who were chosen by their peers to uphold the Memphis Law Honor Code:
Rising 2Ls who will serve a two-year term on the Honor Council:
- Riley Pearson (2L Secretary; 3L Chief Justice)
- Max Friedman (2L Student Justice; 3L Associate Chief Justice)
- Chaymus Yarbro (2L Student Justice; 3L Senior Student Justice)
Rising 3L who will serve a one-year term on the Honor Council:
- Chris Brown (3L Student Justice)
Additionally, there was a three-way tie on the rising 2L ballot to select the final two Student Justice positions. Therefore, a runoff election will be held from 8:00 AM on Monday, April 21 through 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23 among the following students:
- Lily Beth Durbin
- Tyler Foster
- Dulce Maria Salcedo
The two candidates with the most votes will be seated for a two-year term on the Honor Council. Only rising 2Ls may vote. Please vote here: https://memphis.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/election/start/683840

Overall, thank you to all students who participated in this year’s elections process. Congratulations again to the students who were selected by their peers to serve in this meaningful role. And to all who were nominated, remember that a nomination in and of itself is a great honor.
Best wishes on preparing for finals and finishing out the semester strong.
Sincerely,
Nathan L. Daniels
Chief Justice Elect
