TOMORROW: Guest Speaker on Corporate Governance – October 29

Ms. Priya Galante, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for AutoZone, Inc., a global corporation headquartered here in Memphis, will discuss, Stakeholders vs. Stockholders: Do management and board of a traditional for-profit corporation owe a fiduciary duty to non-stockholder stakeholders? Ms. Galante will also be happy to answer questions about her career path and experience as a corporate law practitioner. Ms. Galante is a former associate in the Capital Markets practice groups at Weil, Gotschal, & Manges and Jones Day in New York City before taking her talents in house where she focuses on corporate governance and finance, securities regulation and compliance, shareholder relations, ESG initiatives, and executive compensation.
