Graduating 3Ls! Bar application information

The Tennessee Bar application is open March 1 through May 20 for the July examination.  One of the many forms required is the Law Degree Verification form. Students will print this form, have the Authorization and Release of Applicant page notarized and turn it into the Law Registrar, Cheryl Edwards [Room 264].

Ms. Edwards will complete and mail the rest of the form to the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners. Ms. Edwards is a notary public. 

Students sitting for other state bars will have a similar form to be completed.  The name/title of the form varies from state to state, but all states require verification of your degree. No matter the state, this type of form will be completed by the Law Registrar’s office.
