Friendly Final Exam Period Reminders

Fall Exam Schedule: Review the Exam Schedule. Note the start time and the room for each exam. Place a reminder in your phone or calendar.
Exam4: Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of Exam4. Ms. Edwards provided instructions via email Monday, November 20. Complete one or more practice exams PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST EXAM so that you are comfortable with the process and the software. If you have any issues, contact IT at LawIT@memphis.edu.
Exam4 and choosing your exam: When entering Exam4, double-check you are choosing the correct course/section/professor. It is an administrative nightmare to track down your exam after an exam is over.
Arrive for your exam prepared and on time: When arriving at your exam, if applicable, have any allowable exam materials and a writing instrument. Arrive for your exam at least 10 minutes before of the posted start time.
Loaner Laptops: Loaner laptops are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Email LawIT@memphis.edu to request a laptop. Please include your exam dates and times when making your request. All laptops must be returned immediately after your exam unless otherwise approved by IT.
Exam ID and Password: Ms. Edwards sent your Exam ID with the instructions for downloading the latest version of Exam4 on November 20. If you have not received this email, please contact Ms. Edwards at cedwrds2@memphis.edu. Memorize your exam ID and use the correct ID. Never make up an ID. Your final exam ID is 3 digits long. Do NOT use any 4 or 5-digit IDs received during the semester for any final exam. It is an administrative nightmare to track down your exam. 1L students: You will only use the Legal Methods 4-digit ID when submitting your final paper/brief.
Hallway Etiquette: While waiting to enter or when exiting your exam room, please be mindful that there likely are exams in progress in surrounding rooms. Look for signs on the door. This is especially true on the second floor. Additionally, it is extremely important to remember, that although you may not be taking an exam, other students may be. Keep voices down and noise low when traveling from place to place within the building. Not all exams begin at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. and exams are happening throughout the day and in several non-typical locations.
Study Groups + Room Conditions: If you use a classroom, conference room, or study room to meet with a group or study alone, please clean up after yourself. Wipe off the whiteboard, push the chairs back under the table, and return any chairs to their original place if borrowed from another area or room. Leave the room like you want it when you arrive in the room next time.
Good luck on your exams! You can do it!
