Food Law Student Leadership Summit

Drake Law School in Des Moines, Iowa will be holding a FOOD LAW STUDENT LEADERSHIP SUMMIT from September 20 to October 2, 2016.  The summit is a forum for law students from around the country who share a passion for creating an equitable, transparent, healthy and sustainable food system.  While there students will:

-Learn from policy practitioners, academics, activists, farmers, and more

-Built a network of food law and policy colleagues

-Work on policy solutions for today’s most pressing food challenges

-Tour local farms and farmer’s markets

Any law student at a U.S. law school is eligible to apply.  Hotel accommodation and all meals will be covered, and transportation scholarships are available.  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis beginning in June, so apply ASAP as space is limited.  To learn more and apply: http://www.foodlawstudentnetwork.org/summit
