FALL 2016 CHILDREN’s DEFENSE CLINIC – SINGLE SEAT AVAILABLE

A single seat has opened in the new Children’s Defense Clinic course being offered this fall.  Under the direction of Professor Lisa Geis, the Children’s Defense Clinic will train supervised student attorneys to provide legal representation to youth facing criminal charges in delinquency proceedings in the Shelby County Juvenile Court.  More information about the Children’s Defense Clinic can be found here: http://www.memphis.edu/law/programs/childrensdefense-clinic.php.

If you wish to apply for the remaining seat in the Fall 2016 Children’s Defense Clinic and are NOT already enrolled in another Fall Clinic or Externship, please submit the attached application (click here), along with a current resume and cover letter, to Professor Geis (lgeis@memphis.edu/901-678-3226) BY WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 3RD, at 5:00 P.M.  Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.
