Faculty Presentation: Professor Frank

Mark your calendars! Next Tuesday, Feb. 21st at noon in Wade, Professor Frank will present her Article, “The Proof is in The Prejudice: Implicit Bias, Uncharged Act Evidence & the Colorblind Courtroom,” (Harvard Journal on Racial & Ethnic Justice). The presentation will involve a discussion of some of the problems with the application of Federal Rule of Evidence 404(b) concerning uncharged act evidence against criminal defendants, and the interplay of the implicit biases that inevitably impact juror and judge decision making in criminal cases involving minority defendants.
