Discussion: The Derek Chauvin Trial

It’s been nearly a year since the world witnessed the tragic death of George Floyd. Derek Chauvin’s defense rested its case today in the trial everyone is watching, whether closely or from afar. With recent events in Minnesota this week, we are reminded of the grave and lasting impact the death of Floyd has had on our country and the way we view the U.S. criminal legal system.
