It is the policy of our law school to make reasonable accommodations for students whose disabilities entitle them to accommodations.
The initial accommodation request process is very time-consuming. This poses a particularly serious problem when a student requests an accommodation late in the term pertaining to the taking of examinations.
To ensure adequate time to process accommodation requests, students should contact Disability Resources for Students as soon as possible to begin the accommodation process. Since gathering the information required for accommodations often involves considerable time and effort, students requesting accommodations for the first time should make every effort to begin the accommodation request process by Friday, September 18, 2015.
Students who have previously received accommodations while in law school should contact their coordinators at Disability Resources for Students to request accommodations by Friday, October 2, 2015.
Disability Resources for Students is committed to assisting students in obtaining appropriate accommodations, but accommodations requested after Friday, October 30, 2015 (both initial requests and continuing requests) are not guaranteed to be in place by the time law school exams begin on Monday, November 30, 2015.
