Declare Your Interest in Pursuing a Certificate in Advocacy, Business, Health, Public Interest, or Tax Law

Law certificate programs provide students with both specialized study and increased marketability.

Students enrolled in the certificate programs take specialized course tracks and receive mentoring and guidance from faculty advisors

We have 5 certificate programs, each with its own separate faculty advisor:

  • Advocacy (Prof. Kritchevsky)
  • Business (Prof. Copes)
  • Health (Prof. Ramsey Mason)
  • Public Interest (Prof. Brobst)
  • Tax (Prof. Copes)

Students interested in pursuing certificates who were unable to attend find more information here and can watch a recording of today’s Certificate Information Session for more information.

Interested students should declare their interest in pursuing an Advocacy, Business, Health, or Tax Certificate by completing the Certificate Declaration Form by Friday, February 27.

After declaring your interest, UM Degree, the University’s degree auditing platform, can help you track your progress toward certificate requirements.

In most cases, 1Ls who declare their interest in pursuing a certificate will be assigned to a certificate advisor for individual advising.

Thanks,

Dean Aden
