Congratulations Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Team & Fredrick Douglas Moot Court Team

Please join me in congratulating the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial travel team as they will be representing the Black Law Students Association Southern Region at the National Competition this March!  After three very competitive preliminary rounds, our students went on to beat twelve teams for second-place finalist in the region, securing a spot at the National Competition. Students Brittany Williams, Joe Smith, Jana Mitchell and Crystal Johnson each represented the school extremely well.

The Fredrick Douglas Moot Court team also represented us well, finishing fourth in the region and almost clinching a third-place National spot. Please congratulate students Ariel Anthony and Aurelia Patterson for their amazing effort! Students Jarrett Spence and Jerrick Murrell also represented the school brilliantly.

Teams were coached by Prof. Demetria Frank and Memphis Law alums Andre Mathis and Brigitte Stigger.
