Community Outreach
The Health Law Society is collecting donations for the Baptist Operation Outreach Health Care Mobile Unit. This program provides services, items, and food to Memphians without a permanent place to live. We are asking the Law School to help us collect items to be donated by November 22.
The items will be placed into backpacks and given out to these individuals over the winter break. Items that are needed include:
Thermal Undergarment sets (M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL), gloves, scarves, winter hats, socks, lotion, shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes/toothpaste, and female hygiene supplies.
We will be collecting donations in boxes that will be set up in the lobby, by the elevators, and in the basement and several HLS members will be stationed at tables throughout the week around the lunch hour. You can give your donations to any member of HLS. Money donations are also welcome.
Help HLS provide necessary supplies for those without a permanent place to stay in the Memphis Area!
