Class of 2021: Part Time Paid Law Clerk Position Available at Circuit Court
The Honorable Yolanda Kight seeks a rising 3L to serve as a part time paid law clerk for the coming year. Anticipated start date is May 18. Pay is $15 per hour. The broad range of duties assigned to the law clerk includes: Conducting legal research and writing, preparing bench memos, drafting orders, preparing motion docket and briefs for the Court in preparation for the Friday motion docket and any other daily motions specially set, verifying citations, communicating with counsel regarding cases, and assisting the Judge in court during Friday motion dockets.
