Bluebook Workshop Tomorrow! (April 13th @ 1:00pm)
Law Review and HLSA will be hosting a Bluebook Workshop tomorrow Wednesday, April 13th @ 1:00pm in the Gordon Ball Reading Room.
This meeting is intended for those who would like an introduction and opportunity to practice citing materials in accordance with the white pages of the Bluebook.
As a 1L you rely predominantly on the blue pages, but after that you will primarily use the white pages, both in school and throughout your legal career. It is also what is used in Law Review and therefore this workshop may be helpful for those who wish to compete in the summer write-on competition. Whether you are interested in Law Review or not, this is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the white pages and get a jump start on your bluebooking competency going into your 2L year.
Students will be placed in small groups and paired with a 2L or 3L. We will work on citing a range of sources and discuss some common mistakes.
This event is open to everyone! It is intended to be laid back and all are welcome to come practice your citation skills!Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you!
