What is the Barrister’s Ball?
Often called “Law School Prom,” Barrister’s Ball is a time-honored tradition in law schools across the country. It is a formal evening dedicated to celebrating the legal profession, recognizing student achievements, and providing a well-earned break from the rigors of law school. This event is one of the biggest social gatherings of the year—offering students, and guests a chance to come together and enjoy a night of elegance, and fun.
What to Wear
The dress code for Barrister’s Ball is formal or black-tie optional. This means floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or formal evening wear for those who prefer dresses, and suits or tuxedos for those who prefer suits. Dress to impress and embrace the theme, “Barristers in Bloom,” with soft, floral-inspired colors or classic formalwear!
