ATTN 3Ls Applying for the Tennessee Bar

Dear 3Ls:

I write to clarify a question about traffic citations for students applying to the Tennessee Bar.

The Tennessee Board of Law Examiners Application requires applicants to disclose ALL traffic violations for the last 10 years on the bar application – including those under $200.

The law school requires students to amend their law school applications to disclose any traffic citations that are $200 or more.  You do not need to amend your law school application by disclosing any traffic citations under $200 to the law school.  If you need to amend your law school application with a disclosure, please contact Dean Mulroy with the relevant information.

Thanks,

Dean Aden
