*Attention All Students* MacOS Update 12.0 Monterey Beta Announcement

On Thursday October 7th, 2021 Apple released an unannounced Beta/Test version of their newest MacOS version 12.0 Monterey to some regular Mac users.  This version of MacOS is not supported by the Exam4 software used to take midterm and final exams.

It is strongly suggested that all students using Mac computers turn off Automatic Updates and that you also do not manually run the 12.0 Monterey Beta update if given the option.

Once this new version of MacOS has been cleared for support by Exam4, IT will follow up with an announcement.  If any students need assistance turning off Automatic Updates or have any questions you can contact Law IT at lawit@memphis.edu.
