Attention 3Ls: Important, Updated Information from the TN Board of Law Examiners Regarding the July 2015 Bar

A technical issue has delayed the planned opening of applications for the July examination. Applications will be open by 9:00 a.m. March 5, 2015, though I expect they will open sooner than that.

Also, I have attached the updated Policies and Procedures of the Board. Additions are paragraphs h) and i) in Item 2 and Item 8.

Paragraph h) requires upload of a passport photo with the application; i) requires a foreign-educated applicant to request a course-by-course evaluation of foreign education by one of two credentialing service.

New Item 8 is the Board’s Policy on Non-Standard Testing Accommodations. Included is a statement of policy and an attachment with the Procedures for requesting accommodation, including required formal testing that must be documented. We hope to have the finalized Non-Standard Testing forms available on Monday.

And our last good news — Our new WEBSITE should be up on Wednesday, March 4. The website address is www.tnble.org.
