American Bar Association Memphis Law Site Visit March 30 – April 2

You may be aware that the American Bar Association conducts comprehensive periodic site visits (about every 10 years) of its accredited law schools to verify and gather evidence of compliance with standards. Memphis Law’s site visit will be held March 30 – April 2. The seven-member site visit team includes a lawyer, judge or public member, a university administrator, and several people who are members of the faculty or staff at other Law Schools.
The site visit begins with a tour of the law school on Sunday, March 30, at 4pm. The team will be visiting classes on Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1. There will be an open meeting with students at 4pm on Monday, March 31, in Wade Auditorium and the team will host a lunch with student organization leaders Tuesday, April 1, at noon in the 4th floor Gordon Ball Reading Room.
Please note that the site visit team will be using Room 338 as their workroom for the duration of the visit. Students will not have access to Room 338 during the site visit. The team will leave their belongings in Room 338 and it will be locked when the team is not in the room.
Please help us demonstrate our Memphis Law mojo and welcome the site visit team to our community! We appreciate everyone doing what they can to engage with the team and ensure they have a pleasant and productive visit.
