American Association for Justice Scholarship Opportunity – Deadline May 1, 2023
Each year, the American Association for Justice® (AAJ®) celebrates the hard work and accomplishments of our Law Student members by offering multiple law student scholarships. AAJ is proud to continue to offer these scholarships and will highlight and honor recipients during AAJ’s 2023 Annual Convention.
The deadline for applications is May 1, 2023.
AAJ’s Minority Caucus will award a $5,000 scholarship along with registration to our 2023 Annual Convention to a minority Law Student member entering his or her first, second, or third year of law school.
The Women Trial Lawyers Caucus awards a $5,000 scholarship along with registration to our 2023 Annual Convention to a female law student entering her third year (or fourth year in a part-time program) of law school who has demonstrated a commitment to a career as a trial lawyer.
This scholarship awards $3,000 to AAJ Law Student members entering their second or third year of law school who demonstrate a desire to represent those who have been injured by the negligence or misconduct of others.
The Leesfield AAJ scholarship awards $1,500 to a first- or second-year Law Student member.
With the exception of the Mike Eidson Scholarship, applicants must be an AAJ Law Student member to qualify for a scholarship. Law students can join AAJ at the rate of $15 for one year. For more details about Law Student membership, visit the AAJ website at https://www.justice.org/join. Students who participated in 2023 STAC are already members of AAJ.
All law student scholarship applications are due May 1, 2023.
