All 1L Students, Please Read: Mock Case Comment Update
The University of Memphis Review has extended the submission deadline for the inaugural Mock Case Comment exercise by 24 hours. The new deadline is Monday, April 1 at 11:59 pm. Any and all submissions must be sent in Word Document format to bclliott@memphis.edu.
The Mock Case Comment (“MCC”) window remains open—please check your emails from Monday, March 11, for all information and documents regarding it. The MCC is optional and will not affect how you are scored by Law Review for the official summer 2024 Write-On Competition.
Late submissions will NOT be accepted or receive feedback. All questions regarding the MCC should be directed to Ben Elliott, via bclliott@memphis.edu.
All feedback on 1L’s submissions will be returned to individual participants via email.
After the MCC, Lewis Thomason, P.C. will host interested participants at its Downtown Memphis office on April 8th at 12:00 pm for a meet and greet with the attorneys who graded the exercise, including food. Calendar this if you are interested!
Take full advantage of this opportunity to practice the skills needed for the Summer Write-On Competition. We understand this is a busy time in the 1L semester, but this a great chance to prepare for the Summer Competition.
Thank you again for your time, good luck, and remember to ask questions!
